ix.watch

Keep the LEDs on

ix.watch is free to read and free to use, and it runs on one person's IX ports and spare time. If it helped you find a leak, or you just like a clean peering LAN, chip in.

What it pays for

The domain
ix.watch cost €65. Yes, really.
Ports
Every IXP we add needs a port, and often a cross-connect or transport to reach it. Each port is another IXP on ix.watch.
Running it
Power and colocation for the hardware the captures, the API and this site run on, at AS202585.
My time
Writing the checks, working out who a MAC belongs to, keeping the captures running, and answering your mail. It's a one-person project.

Run an IXP?

A free port is worth more to us than any donation. Here's what it gets you and your members.
